At 15 he impressed Rudolf Nureyev enough to gain a dance part in Death in Venice. Today, he is touring the world with his amazing dance show Roberto Bolle and Friends that brings together classic and contemporary ballet in an exhilarating, unique experience. The show is now coming to the majestic stage of the Baths of Caracalla in Rome.
The spectacle Roberto Bolle and Friends has travelled the world since its inception in the year 2000. It is the brainchild of the celebrated primo ballerino through and through. Bolle dances in many of the numbers, he selects an ever-changing roster of star dancers who share the stage with him, and he is the producer who decides where the show should go next. By choosing unique locations and mounting his impressive dance performance at unexpected venues, Roberto Bolle keeps the tour fresh and continually pushes the boundaries of how people perceive and appreciate classical and modern dance.
Thanks to the dance master’s creative vision, the show has made a home in a number of signature locations across the globe, from the Shanghai International Dance Centre to the Colosseum in Rome. Roberto Bolle and Friends is now returning to Terme di Caracalla in Rome where it has already been staged multiple times, to the delight and awe of numerous dance lovers.
In assembling the setlist for his unique dance variety show, Bolle relies on his extensive international experience.
