The Vesuvio Roof Bar & Restaurant hosts this extraordinary event, offering spectacular views over the city of Naples and the nearby volcano, Mount Vesuvius, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
This rooftop concert with an aperitif makes for a sensational time at one of Naples' chicest bars. The event provides a picture-postcard setting and a warm welcome as concertgoers gain exclusive access to the rooftop of a nineteenth-century palazzo, now home to UNA Hotels Napoli. Located in Piazza Garibaldi, right next to the historic city gates, the venue is easily accessible. Guests simply need to enter the hotel and take the lift to the rooftop bar, where concert staff will be waiting to greet them.
Once on the rooftop terrace, concert attendees are shown to their reserved tables for the performance. Featuring a soprano, a tenor and a pianist, the musical programme may vary from one concert to the next. Audiences can expect to hear many of the most famous songs from the Canzone Napoletana, or traditional Neapolitan songs. The musicians lead concertgoers through the local musical heritage, with renditions of classics including A vucchella and O marinariello, among others. From the operatic tradition, concerts typically feature some of the best arias and love duets by Italian composers, such as Giacomo Puccini, Giuseppe Verdi and Vincenzo Bellini. The concert programme may be subject to change, but it always brings to life many of the best-loved melodies of both the Neapolitan and operatic repertoires.

Tickets include a choice of red or white wine, or a non-alcoholic alternative, plus a selection of regional cheeses with wildflower honey. Montanara alla margherita pizza, with tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil, is served along with panzarotto, traditional Neapolitan turnovers made with potatoes, provola cheese and pepper. After approximately 90 minutes, the concert draws to a close.
